Gareth Frank Bale (born July 16, 1989, age 23 years) is a professional football player who came from Wales, United Kingdom, who plays for Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League and the national team of Wales. Bale can play as a winger or left back.
Bale began his career at Southampton academy in 2005 and was promoted to the first team squad Southampton in the 2006-07 season. In May 2007 he joined to Tottenham by signing a four-year contract.
Bale Wales caps since May 2006. As of October 2011, he has recorded 39 appearances and 10 goals for the national team of Wales.
Initial and personal life
Bale was born in Cardiff. His father Frank was the head of the school, and her mother Debbie is the operational manager. Attended Eglwys Newydd Primary School in Whitchurch town. He is the nephew of former Cardiff City footballer Chris Pike. while at this school he first came to the attention of Southampton at the age of nine, when he was playing in the tournament six-a-side with his first club, Cardiff Civil Service Football Club. His football talent to grow alongside fellow Welshman footballer and Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs.
Bale then enter Whitchurch High School in Cardiff. He was a keen athlete and play football together Wales captain Sam Warburton, rugby, hockey and excel in athletics. At the age of 14 years he says he ran the 100 meter sprint in 11.4 seconds. Due to superior expertise football, school PE teacher, Gwyn Morris, had to write special rules that Bale is limited to playing one-touch football and not using his left foot. While in Whitchurch, Bale trained at Southampton satellite academy in Bath, although there was initially some doubt if Southampton would give him a scholarship because of her height.
Although only 16 at the time, in the U-18 he helped lift school performance to win the Cardiff & Vale Senior Cup. He left school in the summer of 2005 with a Grade A in PE amongst his GCSE results. In his final year at school, he was awarded the prize PE department for services to sport. In the presentation, Morris commented:

Bale lived in London with partner Emma Rhys-Jones, his high school sweetheart. Their first child, a daughter, was born at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff on October 21, 2012.
On 17 April 2006, at the age of 16 years 275 days, Bale became the second youngest player ever to play for Southampton (setelahTheo Walcott, 132 days younger) when he made his debut in a 2-0 victory 'against Millwall.
